• Spaces are sometimes available for long-term boarders.  Grass livery for youngsters and most adult horses is £4.75 per day all year round to include feed of ad lib hay or haylage as needed.  For in foal mares from 1^st November and those with a foal at foot the grass livery price is £5.50 per day all year round to include feed of ad lib hay or haylage as needed   Arrival September to February will incur a higher fee for the winter and a lower one the following summer to average at the same prices.
• Long-term boarders can be stabled if required.  Stabling fees for long-term boarders may vary from those above according to requirements.
• Mares at grass can be given a short feed at a daily additional charge of  £4
• Keep fee for a weanling in a group in a barn - £5.25 per day
• Foaling fee £275
• No charge is made by Alvescot Stud for fresh A.I. at the stud from the above stallions.
• Individual mare requirements can be catered for at additional cost.  Any mares on 100% box rest will be charged at a higher keep rate.  Horses with rugs may be charged at a higher rate.

ALVESCOT STUD’S GRASSLAND IS NOW CERTIFIED ORGANIC BY THE SOIL ASSOCIATION

The day before you wish to visit your horse at Alvescot Stud please telephone to make an appointment.  This requirement is for Health and Safety reasons.

FOALS AND OLDER YOUNGSTOCK FOR SALE

Alvescot Stud is closed for their lunch hour from 12pm until 1pm.

We are also closed on Sundays (apart from viewing horses for sale)
